About Us

Father’s House Church is a dream that was born in the heart of God and entrusted to our pastors, Everton and Simeia França.
In 2006, after six years serving the Lord in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, alongside Pastor Israel Marcelino da Silva at the Assembleia de Deus in Hyannis, God called our pastors to a new challenge — a calling that would forever transform their ministries.
Shortly after the birth of their first son, Joshua França, they heard God’s voice and moved to Frisco, Texas. At that time, the city was just beginning to grow — there were very few Brazilians and many challenges. It was then that God reaffirmed the calling that had burned in their hearts since childhood: to establish a Portuguese-speaking church, something that did not yet exist in Frisco.
With the move to a new state came the challenges of settling in as a family. Even so, the flame never went out. During this time, Pastor Simeia became pregnant with their second son, Nicholas França, and a new season began, marked by prayer and faith.
Nicholas’s birth brought a difficult trial: an obstruction in one of his organs resulted in a severe infection that deeply shook the family. But God’s plans could not be thwarted. After a long period of treatment, lasting more than a year and ending with a successful surgery, Nicholas was completely restored — a true miracle.
During this season of preparation, Pastor Everton França completed his master’s degree and later his doctorate, while Pastor Simeia França graduated in Theology from the Texas University of Theology. Today, that same university partners with Father’s House Church, hosting the first Portuguese-language seminary campus in the United States.
In 2018, during a ministry trip to another U.S. state, God rekindled the flame that had never gone out in the hearts of Pastors Everton and Simeia França. Through several prophetic words, and now with the family established and their children grown, they decided to obey God’s calling and bring to life the dream born in the Father’s heart.
God placed in our pastors’ hearts the vision of a Brazilian church grounded in the Word, with the purpose of reaching not only the Brazilian community but also Americans and Hispanics, in an environment of free and genuine worship in God’s presence.
This is how Father’s House Church was born — a family of faith that grows together, loves the presence of God, and lives to make Jesus known.
